Lower Nicola Site Services (LNSS) partnered with Teck on the initial stages of the Highland Valley Copper Mine Life Extension project, which aims to extend the mine’s lifespan by 17 years to 2045 and significantly boost copper production.

Using a fleet of advanced hydro vacuum trucks, including an innovative air vacuum truck that produces clean, dry soil instead of slurry, LNSS collaborated with Teck and Allnorth Consultants to locate, identify, expose and backfill buried infrastructure dating back almost 50 years. In addition to daylighting, LNSS provided site-clean up and grading services to support the project’s success.
