PROJECT CONTROLS MANAGEMENT
Scope management: Reviewed statement of work (SOW), managed and coordinated the work to ensure compliance to the scope, specification and the change order process. Attending weekly/monthly coordination meetings and highlighting adverse schedule and cost variances for corrective actions.
Cost management: Identifies cost of labor, equipment, material (LEM), and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Track actual costs, update the estimate to complete (ETC), submit variance reports and project post completion reviews.
Earned Value Management: Evaluated actual work progress in accordance with approved tender documents using the ‘Earned Value Technique’, prepared cost report and recommended payments to subcontractors based on the fulfillment of contractual terms and conditions. Lead discussion on the cause-and-effect of schedule slippage and cost variances and poor PF, CPI, and SPI factors with project control team.
Schedule development and reporting: Developed the project WBS by defining all the multi-discipline key activities, assigned milestone dates and developed the project master schedule. During the course of the project, monitor the progress, identify all critical path activities, update the schedule progress, schedule slippages, report schedule variance and issue status.
Change Management: Identified change orders that affect the project schedule. Update the schedule baseline based on approved change orders. Administered contract change process & ensures change requests are tracked, approved as appropriate and implemented correctly.
Continuous Improvement: Reviewed company project control standards and initiate standards continuous improvement.
