We are seeking hardworking, seasoned foremen with experience supervising a crew.

Applicants must come with a track record to supervise, direct, coordinate and assist the activities of the crew and equipment safely and efficiently related to all earthwork activities on large civil projects.

You must comply with and enforce all safe work practices, policies, and processes and participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments and complete pre and post-trip inspections.


  • Take direction from superintendent
  • Co-ordinate daily activities with crews and subcontractors
  • Train & motivate workers
  • Read plan, survey grade sheets and grade stakes
  • Supervise and inspect work to ensure all specifications are met
  • Requisition materials and supplies in advance
  • Monitor and record daily activities and productions
  • Recommend ways to improve production, quality and crew performance
  • Ensure site cleanliness is maintained
  • Work in trenches excavations and manholes, as required
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by your superintendent


  • 3+ years of civil construction experience
  • 2+ years experience in water, sewer, and storm main piping
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the civil construction or mining industry is required
  • Experience operating Heavy Equipment
  • Knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniques
  • Out of town travel is required

Safety Requirements:

  • Valid non-restricted driver’s license and clean driver abstract
  • Completion of Corporate and site-specific Orientations
  • Drug and Alcohol testing, as required
  • Safety certifications (First Aid, CSTS, etc.) considered an asset
  • Completion of Corporate and site-specific Orientations
  • Basic PPE to be supplied by the worker are boots, hardhat and glasses. Infracon will provide any specialized PPE.
  • Operate 2-way radio

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Work is outdoors, and conditions may include extreme temperatures and uneven ground. Position requires employee to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, reach and kneel.  Employees must be able to lift 60 – 80 lbs above shoulder height.
