PROJECT SNAPSHOT

Lower Nicola Site Services (LNSS) has partnered with Teck Resources to deliver an innovative solution for producing essential road crush and blast stemming products. This initiative utilizes over 1.7 million tonnes of recycled waste rock from standard mining practices, contributing to sustainable resource management. The materials are processed on-site using LNSS-owned and operated crushing equipment, ensuring efficiency and reduced environmental impact.

LNSS manages the HVC Crushing Services, maintaining a consistent 365-day operational schedule. This reliability supports the site’s operational needs while providing continuous employment and development opportunities.

A core component of the project is the collaboration with the Lower Nicola Indian Band (LNIB) membership. Through skills development training and industrial employment programs, LNSS enables LNIB members to gain valuable certifications in safety, equipment operation, and technical plant maintenance. These efforts not only foster local economic growth but also promote inclusivity and long-term career advancement for the community
