Technical Competencies
Engineering Design: Have taken many classes focusing on drafting and design where I learned how to effectively use Sketchup, how to read engineering drawings and the basics of SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and AutoCAD.

Hand & Power Tools: Have had many personal projects and class projects that involved MIG welding and the use of many different power tools.

Surveying: Took a 5-day class on how to use a total station and interpretation of surveyed data, and have spent a large amount of time using a galaxy rover on the Royal Bay Housing Development project.

Schematics: Have experience reading and understanding wiring schematics, engineering drawings, and shop drawings.

 

Core Competencies
Personal Management: Completed many assignments per week before the deadline in university while taking 6 course semesters.

Continuous Learning: Always strived to learn more about the last project I worked on and understand as much as I could about project management and the specific site works.

Arbutus Attenuation Tank
North America Construction, Victoria B.C.
● Coordinated with subcontractors and vendors to guarantee timely progress and deliveries
● Oversaw the site and ensured that there were no delays, assisting where possible
● Reviewed shop drawings, replying to comments from the project owner and resubmitting
● Wrote RFI’s and collaborated with other departments to solve issues

 

Royal Bay Housing Development

● Shot layout for infrastructure such as light bases and hydro boxes, and shot grades using a galaxy rover
● Hands on experience installing water, hydro, comms, sewer, and drain lines and services.
● Research and interpret relevant drawings as necessary.
