Responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment to include,
D11, D10, D8, D7 Dozers, Haul trucks 797, 777, Articulated trucks, Grader 16 M, 24H, Loader 988.
Basic excavator – load trucks , dig out stuck equipment etc, fill in where needed.
Lead hand responsible for the training of new operators in immediate work area.
Conducted daily equipment walk arounds ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment was maintained.
Responsible to lead safety talks, FLRA’s, LPSA and interventions in immediate work area.
Followed the plan to ensure we could reach our goals and milestones.
11 years injury and incident free.
Maintained equipment and notified shop and planners if notifications needed to be entered.
Conducted cross training between teams so all operators had a full understanding how to safely complete special tasks performed in our department.
Back up 3600- Equipment manager. Assisted leadership in coordinating float moves of equipment and kept accurate information on equipment locations and availability.
Responsible to conduct area authority duties – Signing permits, performing isolations and de isolating and for all paper work involved. Worked hand in hand with process operators and permit office.
