Structural Designer
Responsible for preparing structural drawings that involve piling layouts and schedules, structural
concrete drawings with rebar details, structural steel layout drawings and connection details and
architectural drawings based on engineering instructions and project codes. Develop 3D models using
PDS Frameworks, S3D, ProStructures and CADWorx and extract 2D drawings from 3D models using
MicroStation and AutoCAD. Prepares material take-offs from 3d models. Perform revisions to engineering
drawings as marked by checkers and leads. Responsible for checking own work and ensuring all design
standards and conventions are adhered to prior to submitting it to the checker. Work closely with Piping,
Electrical, I&C and HVAC department to coordinate the design development continuously. Assists in
handling and answering RFIs from construction sites. Coordinate and check work of international workshare
office. Verify drawings and assist in the training of less experienced designers to ensure 3d models
and drawings are accurately and correctly carried out.
