Educated in one of the oldest Universities in Germany, (Christian Albrecht University in Kiel) I have an extensive
experience in EPCM/EPC, EPCIC, environmental assessments, reclamation, civil construction, oil and gas, client
management and team lead experience on nearshore and marine works, causeway/bridge/dredging, pipeline
construction, pile driving, engineering/civil infrastructure development projects.
Experience in the hydro power sector and other large infrastructure projects. Knowledge and working experience
with structural drawings, regulatory permitting process for provincial and federally regulated infrastructure
projects.
Understanding critical path scheduling and assuring minimum sufficient project float. Experience with community
relations and communications and knowledge of Indigenous-specific values and sites of significance.
Familiarity with energy industry technology (turbines, balance of plant) and contracts (construction, supply,
operations, interconnection, offtake, and/or asset management contracts); understanding of budgets and financial
model. I have been successful in developing successful relationships with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and
other project stakeholders throughout my professional work life and became fluent in 5 languages.
My career started from the QHSE department and continued for many years in dredging/rock work operations and
project controls sector, which enabled me to grasp key disciplines to start and deliver any project within time frame
and allocated cost, using knowledge of relevant Federal, Provincial and Municipal policies.
Among other strong sides of my character, I can also mention ability to deal with people of various professional
and cultural background, ability to lead and learn in new environments.
