My name is Chase Bronson and I am seeking employment in the Merritt area. I am
applying for the posted position of “Labourer/Operator”. I believe my education,
experience and work ethic has put me in the position to contribute to your
company while continuing to learn and build my career in the civil construction
and earthworks industry.
In 2017, I completed the Millwright/Machinist Foundation Program at Thompson
Rivers University. This program helped me gain a stronger understanding of
industry tools and equipment, mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting, and
equipment maintenance. From 2018 to 2019 I worked at a large Oil sands site in
Northern Alberta. Working on this site provided me experience with Large
Diameter Pipe, Heavy Equipment, working as part of a team, and most importantly
safety. While working under Imperial Oils and AECOM’s strong safety culture, I was
able to become familiar with performing job hazard analysis through JHAs, FLHAs,
and safe work permits. Most recently I have been employed by an excavating and
site prep contractor out of Armstrong B.C. My time here has given me more
experience operating and working alongside heavy equipment. Being a part of
these small-scale earthworks and civil projects has given me the skill set to
contribute to larger-scale jobs.
I have attached my resume with further information and references. You can
contact me at chasebronson99@gmail.com or 250-540-9442 if you have any
questions or concerns. I look forward to meeting you and answering your
questions. Thank you for your time and consideration.
