A Civil Engineer with about 8 years of experience in scheduling & planning on large construction projects, during this time I have gained working knowledge of Primavera P6 for project planning, time claims, EPC updates, development of Baseline Program, Recovery Program and issuing look aheads. Package CP07-B is divided into five main components: Infrastructure, LRT Station, Public Car Park, Landscape including Urban Features and Enabling Works. The design scope of work under CP07-B comprises of:

 

•         Enabling Works including Shoring/ Dewatering system including the tower plots;

•         Multi-Story Underground Car Park;

•         Six (6) Medium Voltage 11KV Substations of which 3 are in the Underground Car Park and 3 Substations recently relocated outside the limit of the Project;

Project Value: QAR 297,074,698 Million ($ 81.3 million) (OC, VO1 & VO2)

The Project consists upgrading of the existing Sewerage infrastructure covering the catchment area under PS5 and PS31 in central part of inner Doha such as Mushaireb, Bin Mahmoud and some areas beyond Salwa Road towards Al-Muntazza.

 

The Project also consists Construction of Foul Sewers by open cut method and by non-destructive method if necessary, House connections for each property on the scope area and construction/rehabilitation of sewer manholes.

Scope of the Work:

–        Survey, investigation and study of existing sewer network in inner Doha   project area (Package-1)

–        Data collection and coordination with various major stakeholders

–        Condition assessment

–        Carry out the design and shall be based on full built out scenario

–        Reinstatement, restoration works and all necessary works, etc. as per fully functional requirement

–        Approx. 33.7 km length of Foul Sewers (pipe size 300mm to 800mm) by open cut trench)

–        Approx. 23 km length of Foul Sewers (pipe size 200mm) for house connection riders

–        Approx. 1,233 nos. Sewer Manholes

–        Approx. 1,949 house connections

 

Additional/Variation Work:

–        Variation works SI-02 related to upgrade/construct surface ground water network within the area of Project C816/2.

The new sewage Transfer Pumping Station will be constructed within the site of the existing Al Dhakhira STW and serve a population of 147,500 with a peak flow of 1,386 L/s.
