Started out as a truss assembler in the plant. My job insisted of placing labeled boards in numerical order to make a truss. Hammering plates and operating a giant roller assembly that compacts the plates into the wood properly to form a quality truss. I then moved on to be a “stacker”. My responsibilities were to stack and band all truss’s that came from the plant into a neat and tidy load ready to transport.
