EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/CRG ENTERPRISES
Sept 2008 – December 2015
I began as a grounds man on the gravel crusher. I earned the respect of my co-workers and supervisors with my hard work, and, dedication. I was quickly bumped up to a full-time loader position stockpiling finished product. After my first day of feeding the plant in the feed loader position, I was permanent feed loader because of my speed and ability to blend suitable feed material on the fly. Within my 7 years of working for CRG I was a fairly well-rounded worker with the ability to do basic electrical work, horizontal and vertical welding, service all types of equipment, operate various pieces of machinery including 980&988 CAT loaders, CAT 345 excavator, and, skid steer. Proven ability to run the control tower in a fast-paced crushing environment.
FORKLIFT OPERATOR/LAKE COUNTRY TRUSS
July 2006 – September 2008
Started out as a truss assembler in the plant. My job insisted of placing labeled boards in numerical order to make a truss. Hammering plates and operating a giant roller assembly that compacts the plates into the wood properly to form a quality truss. I then moved on to be a “stacker”. My responsibilities were to stack and band all truss’s that came from the plant into a neat and tidy load ready to transport. Once banded, I would move the load around the yard or onto its designated truck for delivery. I obtained my fork lift ticket at this job.
